BrewLogica Terms of Use

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BrewLogica ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Coe Code LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

Description of Service

BrewLogica is a coffee logging application that allows users to:

• Track coffee beans and their characteristics
• Log brewing sessions with method-specific parameters
• View insights about resting times and brewing patterns
• Use AI-powered features to extract information from photos and text
• Sync data across multiple devices

Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account:

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You may use the App without an account, but sync features require registration

Subscription and Payments

Pricing

BrewLogica Pro is available for $49.99 per year. This subscription includes all features, including AI-powered label parsing, brew parsing, and insights.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed annually through the Apple App Store
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to your next renewal period.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App (except authorized APIs)
• Share your subscription with others or resell access

AI Features and Limitations

BrewLogica uses AI to help extract information from coffee bag labels and text:

• AI-extracted information should be reviewed and verified by you
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
• AI features require an active subscription and internet connection
• We may impose usage limits on AI features to prevent abuse

Intellectual Property

The App and its content are protected by intellectual property laws:

• We retain all rights to the App, its code, design, and branding
• You retain ownership of your coffee data and content you create
• You grant us a license to store and process your data to provide the service
• Trademarks, logos, and brand features are property of Coe Code LLC

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not responsible for data loss due to technical failures
• Coffee brewing results may vary—we provide logging, not brewing advice
• AI features are for convenience and may contain errors

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COE CODE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coe Code LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App:

• If you violate these Terms
• If we discontinue the service (with reasonable notice)
• For any reason with 30 days notice

You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but certain provisions of these Terms survive.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Missoula County, Montana.
